One of the key factors to examine is the relationship between age and sexual frequency in menopausal women. This study aims to investigate the correlation between age and the frequency of sexual activity among menopausal women in Purbayasa Village, Padamara Subdistrict, Purbalingga Regency. This research employed a correlational analytic design with a cross-sectional approach involving 118 female respondents aged 40–64 years who met the inclusion criteria. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, and data analysis was conducted using the chi-square test. The results showed that most women in the menopausal age group remained sexually active, with a frequency of ≥2 times per week (57.8%). In contrast, only 23.1% of postmenopausal women reported similar activity levels. The statistical test revealed a significant relationship between age and sexual frequency (p = 0.000; CC = 0.442), indicating a moderate association. The study concludes that as age increases, the frequency of sexual activity in menopausal women tends to decrease. This decline is influenced not only by hormonal changes but also by psychological, physical, and partner-related factors. Therefore, attention to the sexual health of menopausal women should be an integral part of comprehensive health services to support their overall quality of life.</em></p> Siti Isnaeni, Retno Kumalasari ##submission.copyrightStatement## //ojs.ukb.ac.id/index.php/Jk/article/view/978 Wed, 30 Jul 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Efektivitas Strategi Promosi Kesehatan Rumah Sakit di Berbagai Wilayah : Systematic Literature Review //ojs.ukb.ac.id/index.php/Jk/article/view/999 <div class="page" title="Page 1"> <div class="layoutArea"> <div class="column"> <p>Hospital health promotion is an integral part of the healthcare system that plays a vital role in improving the quality of life of patients and the broader community. In various countries, hospitals not only serve as places for patient care but also act as health promotion centers responsible for disease prevention and enhancing public well-being through a variety of interventions and health education programs. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of health promotion strategies implemented in hospitals, focusing on patient empowerment, medical staff empowerment, the use of alternative therapies, and health communication. The method used is a systematic literature review of 15 relevant articles. The findings indicate that empowering patients and medical personnel can improve the quality of care and patient satisfaction. Patient empowerment that involves them in care decision- making enhances their experience, while medical staff empowerment through training improves their effectiveness in carrying out health promotion. The use of alternative therapies has been shown to provide additional benefits in enhancing patient well-being. The study also found that effective communication between medical staff and patients plays a crucial role in improving patient understanding, treatment adherence, and their involvement in care decision-making. The conclusion of this study is that approaches based on patient and medical staff empowerment, along with effective communication, are effective strategies for enhancing the quality of health promotion in hospitals. One non-pharmacological intervention that has shown potential in reducing anxiety is endorphin massage—a light-touch therapy that stimulates the release of endorphins, which act as natural pain relievers and promote a sense of comfort. This study aimed to analyze the effect of endorphin massage on anxiety levels among third-trimester primigravida mothers facing labor. A quantitative approach with a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design was employed. The study involved 20 third-trimester primigravida participants. The intervention consisted of four sessions of endorphin massage, and anxiety levels were assessed using a modified version of the Hamilton Rating Scale for Anxiety (HRS-A). The results indicated a significant decrease in anxiety, with the mean score dropping from 3.5 before the intervention to 1.55 after. The Wilcoxon test showed a p-value of 0.000 (&lt; 0.05), confirming a statistically significant effect of endorphin massage on reducing anxiety. These findings suggest that endorphin massage is an effective non-pharmacological method to lower anxiety levels and enhance maternal psychological preparedness and comfort prior to childbirth.</p> </div> </div> </div> sartika sartika, Noorlinda Noorlinda ##submission.copyrightStatement## //ojs.ukb.ac.id/index.php/Jk/article/view/988 Wed, 30 Jul 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Faktor-Faktor Yang Berhubungan dengan Kepatuhan Ibu Hamil dalam Mengkonsumsi Tablet Fe //ojs.ukb.ac.id/index.php/Jk/article/view/1008 <div class="page" title="Page 1"> <div class="layoutArea"> <div class="column"> <p>One of the government's efforts to prevent anemia in pregnant women is through a program providing iron tablets.
